1. Booking Confirmation
To secure your tour with us, we require a deposit of 30% of the total tour price. This ensures we can reserve your accommodations, park permits, and necessary logistics in good time. The balance can be paid either 45 days before your arrival or upon arrival (if agreed upon in writing). We’re flexible and happy to accommodate the payment method that works best for you.
2. Payment Methods
- Bank Transfer – Secure international payments. Clients are kindly asked to cover any bank charges.
- Credit/Debit Cards – Convenient for online payments (note: processing fees may apply).
- Cash on Arrival – Available for last-minute bookings with prior arrangement.
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your tour, please notify us as early as possible. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, while also covering costs already incurred on your behalf:
- 60+ days before arrival: Full refund (minus any bank or transaction fees).
- 45–59 days: 70% refund.
- 30–44 days: 50% refund.
- 15–29 days: 30% refund.
- Less than 14 days: No refund due to non-recoverable costs.
Flight tickets and park permits are usually non-refundable once booked.
4. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend all guests have comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances such as trip cancellations, medical emergencies, or lost luggage. While we take every measure to ensure your safety and enjoyment, insurance offers extra peace of mind during your travels.
5. Tour Rescheduling
If you're unable to travel as planned, we allow one free date change if informed at least 30 days before your trip. In the case of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters or health crises), we’ll work with you to reschedule within 12 months at no extra cost.
6. Health & Fitness
All travelers should be in good physical condition, especially for mountain trekking or remote area safaris. Please consult your doctor if you have pre-existing medical conditions or are planning to climb Kilimanjaro or participate in active excursions.
7. Liability
While Tanzania Tourist Safari does its utmost to ensure your trip runs smoothly, we cannot accept responsibility for events beyond our control, such as weather conditions, flight delays, or political unrest. However, we will always do our best to adjust plans where possible to keep your experience enjoyable.
8. Park Rules & Respecting Wildlife
We operate with great respect for Tanzania’s protected areas and encourage guests to follow all park guidelines. Staying on marked roads, avoiding littering, and minimizing noise helps preserve the incredible wildlife and environment for future generations.
9. Accommodation & Itinerary Flexibility
All accommodation options are subject to availability at the time of booking. Should any chosen property be unavailable, we will provide a similar or upgraded. Minor changes in the itinerary may also be made due to weather or operational reasons.
10. Complaints & Feedback
Your satisfaction matters to us. If you experience any issues during your safari, please inform your guide or our team immediately so we can address them. Written complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the tour’s completion to allow for proper follow-up.
11. Use of Photos & Media
Unless requested otherwise, Tanzania Tourist Safari may use images or videos captured during your tour for promotional purposes. If you’d prefer to opt out, kindly let us know before or during your trip, and we’ll be happy to respect your privacy.
12. Children & Family Tours
We warmly welcome families. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. Some activities may have age limits for safety reasons, and we’ll help you plan accordingly for a smooth family adventure.
13. Privacy & Data Security
Your personal information is handled with care and will never be shared with third parties without your consent. We use your details only to arrange your tour, provide assistance, and keep you informed throughout the planning process.
14. Force Majeure
In the rare case of events beyond anyone’s control—such as pandemics, natural disasters, or civil unrest—we will offer flexible rescheduling options or credit toward future travel whenever possible. Our goal is always to support you.
